n e one know a humane way top kill sick betta??

i have a betta that is sick swollen and dieing and he is two years old and i figure that since he has had a long and happy life it is his time to go so n e one know that most humane way ? besides putting him down the garbage disposallol j/p

Umm, have you tried finding out what is wrong with him and treating him yet? You kind of make it sound like you're just giving up on him. It might just sound like this to me though.

ok i will agree with the first way to uthanise (or however u spell it) a fish but wtf "chop its head off and then stab its brain???" i have a pond in my back yard and when a fish is injured which has only happened 3 times we dig a hole take the fish out in a net and cut it up with a shovel the fish being out of the water is extremely stressful and the time it would be flopping around and stuff is just cruel im not going to let my fish be sloughtered but i was wondering if their was something that i could put a few drops in his water and he would just fall asleep but i definately dont agree with n e method but the one of chopping their head off and i wouldnt do that with a BETTA!!!!!! and as i have had this betta and many other betta and i have bred betta i think i know when it is sick so uh yea their is no cure this is either a cancerous growth or a tumor which is untreatable!!!! but thanx

I would seriously recommend a proper treatment, at least before you try to kill him humanely..

he is 2 years old, he is very very fat, he has a very long strand of something brown hanging from him out of his stomach that has popped open from being sooo fat what do u recomend i do

i wil c bout getting pics but dont think theirs ne helping him like i said he is two years old and i feel sorry for him having to suffer in the wild he would have already been taken out so i think its unfair to make him suffer

well iv never heard of anything like this on any fish, plz send a pic b4 u kill him there may be a treatment. any betas userally live to be 3 or 4 ( i think )

k i will send a pic looks like he is getting to be a little better but he still doesnt flare his fins and he is still very bloated here is a link to a pic that looks kinda like what he looks like but it isnt a great pic i cant tell if the betta in the pic is bloated like mine or is just opening his gills
