Mystery Snail Behavior

i got two new snails today, an ivory mystery who hit the ground running. the blue one however, has stayed hidden in his shell, however the black mysteries already in the tank instantly came over and climbed all over the blue one. i was wondering is this normal for them?

i know my apple snails take a while to come out of their shells when they first go in a new tank ranging from 10 mins to one took 8 hours to come out and snails very often crawl over each other , i'm not sure wether this is to check the sex of the snails as they are single sexed
