Mystery Pleco @ Lfs

They had it labeled as a King Pleco, but looking at the google images... me thinks they had it mislabeled (probably so they could charge the $49 they wanted for it)....

It had a completely black body, and what looked like white bands across the edge of its fins. Was hard to tell b/c looked like it might've gotten fin nipped a little.

hi im faye if ok with you id like to research this plec and if i find out i could get back to you. i was just going to get tipsy with a bottle of malibu for the first time in god knows how long after children but my partner cant bare to miss match of the day to go buy me some cola so im back on the forum.

By the sounds of the discription it's a L183 white seam, did have little white spots?

Nope, no white spots. Body of it was solid black.

Blue panaque maybe? seen a few that are more a solid black colour with a tinge of white on the end of there fins. Other than that i can't really think of another one lol

well, i dont know about US prices but i seen one in MA for £55 so rougly $75-$85 so yes going by that it's a very good price

Ive seen them as cheap as £30 privately ....so roughly $45-$55 ish about average for private sold so for a LFS to sell them at that i would buy one.
