Hey all, just a quick question about what appears to be some kind of eggs in my tank. they appear to be about 1mm in size, clear little feathery masses that attach to the glass by what looks like one tiny strand. makes them look like tiny clear sea anemone.

I have cherry shrimp (I dont think its these, they carry eggs under their tails correct?)
striped Kuhli loach, pretty sure its not this
dwarf chilli rasboras, not sure about these
and I have loads of tiny golden mystery snails. these were what I assumed were responsible, but they are so tiny themselves at the moment, still 1mm in size and clear themselves (hitched a ride on some driftwood)

cant take a picture of them as they are too small and my camera sucks.

i was just wondering if it could be hydra its like
a fresh water anemone and can be dangerous to small
fry but like i cant say with out seeing it but that
i know will be impossible just you metioned that it looked like
an anemone which hydra does

Cant get pic, too small and too transparent. theres some tiny little dots inside them, look fairly evenly spaced. dozens of these tiny little things on my glass. I tried to draw what they look like as far as i can tell, however its pretty fail.

forgot the pic.

Doesnt really look like the hydra, they are very small and dont really have spindly arms, Its hard to draw what it looks like, all the strands i drew seem connected by thin film, thats why it kind of looks like egg sacks of some kind. Ill just keep watching them, see what happens.

any chance of a photos please

Your drawing is great, I've had these all over my tank in the cycling phase. They are not eggs (I had nothing that would lay eggs during cycling, no plants even) and don't appear to be dangerous. I wiped them off and from time to time I see them. I would love to know what it is. And just to back you up, they are not hydra and they are not planaria. And they are way to small for most cameras to capture.

BTW, my tank has been cycled since March and I have a healthy community of fish and plants.

Well....
Anything like this?
