Myst Or Similar Game

Thinking about getting Myst Compilation with all 5 games, anyone played it, is it worth getting. I love rpg's, Final Fantasy vii was the last game i played and that was fantastic, i got abit fed up with all the fighting though. Can you recommend a good rpg for the pc, i like zelda and kingdom hearts type games but unfortunately they don't do them for the pc.

I loved Riven! I played it a lot when I was a kid. I haven't played myst yet, I should though. If myst is anything like Riven It will make you think REALLY hard. It is a puzzle game. I did eventually have to go on-line and look at a walk through to figure out parts of the game. I was very determined and would spend months stuck before consulting the walk through. I believe Riven is a very old game. (gets disk) Yes it is very old, copyright 1998 for Window 95 , I'm surprised it still works. Riven is a frame by frame game, i'm not sure about Myst though. The graphics and video segments where really good though.

Other games I like are Rise of Nations and Halo online.

i think i'll give it a go.

I love these types of games. If you can still find them try syberia, syberia 2, broken sword, broken sword 2 (the broken sword:the sleeping dragon was ruined by them making it 3d) if you want retro try Beneth a steel sky (all these games are point and click adventure-puzzle games)

Alas thay dont make these type of games these days (very rarely) all seem to be racing/motorsport or 1st person shoot'em up's imho

yeh syberia is one i was looking at, it looks good might try that next, i got the myst set, was meant to be christmas prezzie but i couldn't resist starting it, so i probably won't be on tff much in the next 6mths lol
