Mysis shrimp for freshwater

I am planning to feed only frozen unless somebody is watching my fish and I know mysis is great for saltwater but wondering if good for freshwater aquariums.

Hi Southaw007: I feed frozen mysis occasionally in my f/w community tanks and most fish like them a lot (the livebearers in particular are crazy about them). It would be a good idea to use a formula food to balance out the frozen. The formula foods have a broader range of nutrients in them. If you have more than one kind of fish in your tank the formula would help you hit more of their nutritional needs.
