Yes, he's a cambodian VT...a blue cambodian to be exact....

He looks like my Sushi

I'd keep a close eye on his tail though....it looks like he might have torn it against something prior to you getting him.....or like my Sushi....he's a tail biter

Yeah I would never keep a Betta in a small bowl or container not only because it's small, but you wouldn't be able to use a filter either so you would have to do water changes and stress the fish out whenever you do it.
