Very very nice tank you have. +1
Has a very natural look to it.

Thankyou BigFairy,

that is exactly the look I was going for, really prefer it to look as natural as possible. Think the fish prefer it too

Very very nice indeed.

Whenever I see tanks like yours though I always think "how do they gravel vac?"

I'm so concerned about doing that that I end up with a fairly bare substrate so I can easily get to all the poo.....maybe I shouldn't be so paranoid.

I must confess to very minimal gravel vac on the little subsrate I can get to!

I am growing zealandia in the foreground so as that establishes I will not be gravel vacing at all.

The roots of the Swords and other stem plants in the background should deal with and excess nutrients in the subsrate. I believe snails also play an important role in 'turning' the subsrate to avoid build ups of dangerous gasses. I am no expert but have not experienced any issues to date so I wouldn't panic if I were you.

buetiful pleco!

He is a Brislenose plec, Male. You can tell by the amount / size of the bristles on his nose (hence the name)

If you live in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire and are prepared to pick up I would gladly donate a couple of BN's to you

now that is generosity!

i thought i had posted on this a couple of days ago but obviously didnt

got any long shots at all?
