I went back to return my leaky tank yesterday and decided to take the advice of several of you and upgrade while I was at it! I ended up with an Eclipse 6, so I've got a gallon more to play with, and really more fish possiblities since it's not a hex. Anyways, the tank looks really good, I'm happy with it. I left the filter running in it for hmm.. it's been over 24 hours now, and so the water is all clean again - it got pretty gross after I poured the gravel back in it. I think it's safe to add fish in, so I'll probably put my 2 cherry barbs in there tonight. But hey.... now I gotta get more fish! How great is that! :D

I need some suggestions on what to stock with. My possible ideas so far (not necessarily gonna get all or even any, just ideas) are a Dwarf Gourami, and 2 Corys (albino maybe). More ideas por favor! All they have to be compatible with for sure yet are 2 cherry barbs. I'm so excited to get some fishies and of course I'll add them slow, but I like to have a plan. Thanks!

Hi juliethegr8t :D

I'm so glad to hear about your new tank. You will really enjoy it after all the trouble you went through. Best of luck with it!!!

I was going to suggest a couple of panda cats, but I see you already have them, so how about a couple of cory trilineatus? Here's a link to see a pic. (Actually, I kind of like the julli cat that is shown there, too.) :)

If you can find them I think the Asipdora species would be a great addition to your tank. they don't grow quite as big as the Coridoras and are just as active. Most species only get to about 2 inches.
We have 3 Aspidoras fuscoguttatus (I think) and they are great to watch. They are like little water chipmunks, fat cheeks and mouth always going. A very peaceful and personable fish for a community tank.

Here is a pic of one of our little chipmunks :D
