my udf with piping any suggestions

I placed my parts together , no need for glue as it is a good fit. I have 1.5 gal per pound @5 per pkg for a 30 gall tank.
i need a power head. what type? how much?
looks like i am doing good on my own but always advice needed.

just to my right I have my filter andan opening.

Undergravel I believe.

The Powerhead is your choice though. If you have fish that dont mind current, find a PVC adapter that will fit the intake of the powerhead properly. If you can do that, then the model and gph is up to you.

If your fish dont like current (i.e angels, bettas) then choose a small powerhead. The larger, the more effective the UGF will be.

a powerhead 30 hey call it a 301 it is suitable 4 the tank and an upgrade on the peguin 150 or 200 newer viersion good 2 go, jut need to keep the gravel cleaned
 
Interesting ... if I had mine to do over I would of added more plumbing below the filter base ... to force or direct water accross the base. I agree you don't need glue.

One could sand paper the PVC though to clean it up a bit.

What would happen if you hooked that directly to a canister filter ??
