My Two Tanks

These are pictures of my two tanks.

The 2 1/2 gallon betta tank is actually my boyfriend's. He just loves his betta, Kaiser. lol! He has him sitting next to his computer.

And here's a close up of Kaiser:

This is our 25 gallon. It houses three zebra danois at the moment.

They are both very nice actually! I like the red plants that you used in both of the tanks - I have always steered clear of the color plant thinking that they will look even less real but it seems that you have pulled it off!

Does the betta tank have no light? Is he ok with just ambient lighting?

Thanks! I really liked the red plants as well. I usually won't use anything other then green, red, or silvery (like the hanging one up front). The thing is, I don't like real plants...they look better than plastic, but I just don't have the time to take care of them....and they tend to smell. I used to have real ones in a previous tank though.

The betta is doing wonderful in his tank, even though it currently has no light or hood. Our local pet store sells the small tanks but doesn't stock any small lighting or hood fixtures, so we are currently looking online for any place we can get one. I can't wait till we can get him a flourescent light because he's simply beautiful...cobalt, black, red, and teal coloring.

lol! Yeah, my boyfriend is a Lucy Liu freak. My computer has a Yu-Gi-Oh background.

Thanks for the nice comment! I'll have some more piccys up soon, probably this weekend of my new fishies. I'm thinking of some Platies and Swordtails. I just love Platies.
