My Turtle

My outside pond keeps leaking and I have my turtle in there. I was wondering what I could bring him in for the winter. I wont be able to get a tank. But would a big clean rubbermaid container work if it at a filter in it? And if it is ok how would I gettet it ready for him like filter, rocks and what else? what type of filter would work?

ermm not great with turtles but don't turtles need to be kept inside???

Usually they don't grow that much bigger over the winter.
Rubbermaids are deep, and not that long. Could you find something long instead of deep?
Walmart has these excellent fake tree toters that are about 4-5 feet long, 6-7 inches deep. Those would be perfect.
