My trip to the Maldives

OK, So I just got back from the Maldives, and I took a whole bunch of underwater pictures on various dives, and snorkelling outings!
Here's the pick of the bunch, and you can see pretty much all of the best ones on the photobucket album I set up here
Most of these pics have been editied in photoshop to remove the blue washed out tint that I had on them from being underwater, so excuse some of the dodgy editing!!!
I'm really sorry for the amouint of pictures, I just couldn't help myself!!!

I'll start with my favourite. The green Sea Turtle ones. Most of these were captured snorkelling, I was swimming with one of them for about 10-15 minutes and he just let me keep swimming down to him and taking pictures from about 15cm away!!

Incredible pics!

How deep was the water where the eel was eating the octopus?

I've changed the photobucket album so it is public now!! Sorry.
The eel was in water no more than a couple of inches deep where it had the octopus!! I watched it for about 5 minutes until it swam off with about 2 inches of tentacle left in it's mouth!!!

That particular clam was only about 30cm, but I saw ones about 1m just didn't get very good pics of those ones!!

yeah. I think i saw a titan trigger in there. I would be scared swimming with one of those. They have big teeth!

There were Titan Triggers all over the place, you wanna swim in the sea, you gotta swim with titan triggers!!! Just make sure you avoid the nesting ones and you'll be OK!! They have big nasty teeth though yes!! We had one outside our villa every morning, he was a big old boy. I got some nice video of him baring his gnashers as well!!!
