My trip to the LPS/LFS/Petsmart!

Well last night I hit Bensons Pet Store , Petsmart , and Davy Jone's Locker. I picked up my first 2 EVER female Bettas. There really really beautful. One has a white body with florescent fins. Its really awsome, you can look at Pearl (I named her ) and her color of her fins change from clear to pinky blueish. Really awsome. Ill pick up a digital camera soon so I can show you all. I put her in a 2.5 gallon tank up on my shelf. Then I got a blue and white female that is really really active. I got her for her awsome personality. I dont know what to name her yet though. I'm open for suggestions B) . She is also in a 2.5 Gallon tank up on my self. I really got to get a digital camera!! Man I want to show you guys!

The think that only bothered me on the trip was when I went to get my first female bettas, they were in jars just like the males. Doesnt that kill them really really fast? I dont think that they should be kept in cups ( i dont think males should but anyways......)

Awsome! I hope you'll be keeping them seperated 'till you get 2 more...they might fight eachother. Rule of thumb, 4 females = less agression, up to 6 females in a 10 gallon.
Oh they sound so lovely, one of them it seems is a Cambodian,

awsome, good luck, iv got 4 females in a 10g and they do quite well. its best if u only keep females together if they are around the same size and of equal aggression. one of my 4 females is quite small and she is picked on alot, iv removed here yesterday, hopefully i can get her bigger soon your fish sound really nice, i saw a male at my walmart that would be a great match for ur pearl good luck again
