Just wanted to add some before and afters of my tank and see if anyone had some tips on prettying it up a bit, I like how it is now I just wanna refine it a lil bit

Nice job made a big difference with the extra plants etc

How about changing the background to black. It will make you Neons and rummy nose colours pop

Will it be High Tech tank ?

If its me .. I will add in floating plants am just a craze for floating plants ...

I dont especially like floating plants. Last time I had them i couldn't keep them maintained enough, they never stopped reproducing. Worse than guppies!!

Hello, I think the tank looks lovely, but my preference is for a black background as I like the way it changes the colours of the plants. I also love floating plants, I’ve got water spangles at the moment, they are growing like crazy and they are good for water quality…

Black background 100% the tank will look so much better for it! Is the hairgrass growing ok? I'd be tempted to add some other grass type plants like Dwarf Sag or Helenthium Tenelum to give a bit more ground cover. But otherwise tank is looking awesome!

The hair grass is so far the only grass I've actually been able to grow, and its growing really quickly to be fair. Everything else hasn't ever sent out runners, I have root tabs and I fertilise they just don't like me!
