My Tank

Here's how the tank is looking at the minute, if anyone has any opinions on plants etc or if I should move the existing ones please feel free to share them, will have a heap more plants tomorrow to fill it out a bit more

i think you need a little hard scape in there. unless your going for a jungle effect. but even then some twigs / rocks would look good. also a ton more plants

other wise it looks good

I have a large piece of wood, looks like twisted roots soaking in a basin, and ill be getting a few rocks tomorrow along with the plants, going for a half crescent shape either side with plants with some along the back and an open area in the front with a grassy carpet along the substrate

Does the tank slope to the left or is it just me?

If your talking about the substrate then yea there's a slope in that I have it thicker on the right side

No it was more the waterline I was looking at, looks like it's nearer the top on the left than the right.

Oh yea, only just noticed that, I wonder why that is, it's on the stand that was made for it and there's nothing underneath, ill have to have a look when I get home

If it is on a slant and it's noticeable it might be worth looking into rectifying it before any possible problems.

I don't see how it could be slanted though, a bit baffled by this one tbh, what problems could this cause?

If the slant is big enough (hard to quantify) then increased pressure on joints may stress them to the point of splitting or if there's more then one slant (ie. side to side & front to back) increased pressure on one corner could cause it to crack.

It doesn't look a lot and is probably magnified by the angle of the photo so is probably nothing to worry about.

Now I'm thinking what if the floor is starting to give on one side haha ill have to remedy this wen I get home, yea the pic isn't great either
