Here goes. Not sure if I am doing this right but trying to post pic of my tank. Any suggestions for a background. I want a fairly light one but can't find the right one. What do you think?

Lovely coldwater goldfish tank
I think a plain light blue background might look best and accentuate to lovely gold colours of the fish.

Juwel make a range of backgrounds which are dark and have a kind of tree bark effect (dk brown). They would show off your brightly coloured goldfish to their best advantage. The backgrounds come in different sizes.

these backgrounds require silconing to the glass so the tank contents wouldneed to comeout for 24 to 48 hours

Sorry, your right. So its either paint or one of those underwaterscapes on a roll then.

you can always get some adheseal to glue the backgrounds on. it'sd a fish safe silicone that can be used underwater.

the Juwel back does look really good in goldfish tanks, out Rio 125 goldfish tank at work has the Juwel background.

that looks pretty cool. thanks for the pics. I had never heard of that stuff before. Still pondering what to buy but definately will have a look at the juwel ones.
