My Sponge Filter

I need help fast . My Sponge Filter is getting on my nerves because of the noise it makes. Can I remove the sponge and put it inside the Nano power HOB Filter?

Can I cut the Sponge filter in half so it will fit?

In the nano filter I have a piece of carbon foam and anothe piece that is used for catching debris. In which order should I put all 3 sponges in the HOB filter?

Sponge filters are low flow bio filters, you don't need but 2 or 3 bubbles per second to get them to work. Try turning down or bleeding off some of the air.

You certainly could cut it down & put it into a hob filter. I would put it in between the two medias you already have.
