Well my new Bluesteel crowntail is doing fine he's flaring and everything. Now my Yellowgold skinny bone jones crowntail like I said in my 1st post is skinny. Well I was really looking at him from the top angle of his tank. His face to his gill is fine, but once you start getting past his gills he is really skinny. I have never seen a fish like that. It's so sad that he is like that :-( , but also keeping in mind that he had just came in to the fish store the same day I got him. Also some parts of all fins are somewhat shredded, but I know that can come back. What do you guys think, will he make it? I hope so cause if he does, when he is 100% he will be beautiful :D . He's eatting well, he likes his bloodworms :hey: . I am feeding him bloodworms and betta bio gold (round pellets).

well the best thing to do right now is feed him. when u bought him from the store maybe he wasn't fed

feed him and watch him for the next while, if he stays skinny and doesn't gain any weight it could (and i say could) be internal parasites. i don't know what he was fed in the store but sometimes live food causes this, a dose of Maracyn-Two would help in that instance. best of luck ;)

Update: He's eatting real nicely, I know he'll make it. He is more active then from the day I got him. Bkk_group if he did have parasites, would you be able to see it?
Cause I see this little red line that's inside his body, but could be a vein cause he is skinny I don't know.

He was probably under fed at the petstore and treated badly (maybe the water wasnt changed or he was kept in a tank with fin nipping fish for a while)Feed him well, keep his water clean and give him some fin treatment and he should get better :hyper: :hyper:
