My Shrimp Is Full Of Eggs

I have a green shrimp that i got from the LFS that is full of eggs. you can see them all inside her. Is she waiting for a mate or are they already fertile? I tried to google it but couldnt find exactly what i was looking for.
I did get two, but i cant find the other and it was smaller so no idea if it was a male or a female. Should i try and get hold of some more green shrimp?


I have a UGF, and wondering if baby shrimps would be able to survive in my tank with the current. Ive been wondering the same about fish aswell because i would like my rasboras to breed eventually (i have two females and three males ) but im concerned about the UGF

The shrimp may find their way under the undergravel filter and get stuck .

do you know if the green shrimp will lay the eggs or does she need a mate?

I don't know but I'd guess the eggs are fertile. Most shrimp carry the eggs under their tails.
