Thought I'd show off my very first fish tank
OK, there's nothing interesting in there yet as I've just started the cycle but the idea is to plant it out a bit (especially around the filter).

Not sure what fish I'm going to put in there yet, but probably some Dalmatian Molly's

Looks really nice I like how simple it is - I would add a black background on It feels sparse but in a good way like the moon.

Yes I'm going to get some black card or something and put that at the back.
It's difficult to think how much room you have in the tank when you're in your LFS and I was worried about over filling it with stuff
Do you think I need to find something as a hiding place like some pipe or something?

A coconut shell would be more natural.

You could get a cave- or make one out of flat rocks.
