This is how my tank used to look.....

and here it is now.....

As you can see the coral gravel has been replaced with lack quartz, some more planting, and a big od piece of wood, ignore the stone on the wood, its just there until the wood stays of its own accord. I am going to attach some java moss and fern to the wood, just need some cotton to do so.

Im a lot happier with it now, but if anyone has any ideas on improving it I am willing to listen, I may not agree but I am open to criticism.

Looks much better, should do a journal in planted, if I were you I'd add some weeping moss or xmas moss instead of java as it will look like a tree in your scape and much more tidy as java has random growth, whereas the other two only grow one way making them very pretty.

I didn't even realise there was alternatives to java moss, I'll have a look into that.

Cheers......

Thanks, its nearly there, although I would like somethings to go in the bare patch on the right hand side, I think one of my missus plant pots is going to meet Mr Hammer and become a cave with moss growing on it, how do you attach moss to something smooth?

A coconut covered in moss comes to mind... Them half cut ones some call breeding caves! On the front right side! But looking good.
