A while back we had the huuuuuge Mito/Sayama aviary for most of our boys. Sadly it didn't work out as all hell broke loose when some of them hit maturity and after Fitch and Stirling nearly died from an attack by Drebin (the git), we caved in and split them into smaller groups, buying 120cm rabbit cages for each lot, and putting Fitch, Stirling and Stirling's brother Ferris (affectionately known as Merrick because of his lumpy face) in their own cage.
Well, a couple of weeks ago we got the three level rabbit cage from Zoopet (but 2nd hand off Lisa). Lisa had adapted it to cover the holes in between levels, making it separate living accomodation for 3 separate groups of rats.
In the bottom we have:
Percy
Blackadder
Baldrick
Zoot
In the middle we have:
Scaramanga
Jesse
Wotsit
Murdock
Mr T
Dennis
And in the top smaller cage we have:
Ferris
Stirling
Fitch
So imagine my surprise when I went in yesterday morning, and found that one naughty little sod had removed the "barrier" between top and middle and those two groups were snuggled up together in the middle cage.
I have my suspicions on who did the deed, as I know it's one of the top group from a previous escape plan when my son Dan woke up with Fitch on his head. Now given that Fitch is getting on, and Stirling is plagued by bad health, I wonder who's left?
