I believe that it's a male, but I've found that the tell tale sign, besides the pinkish belly during breeding, is the back of the dorsal fin, near the tale. If it comes to almost a point then it's male, if it is more rounded then it's a female. The other ways to tell are the pinkish belly on females during breeding, and the "Spike" on the front of the dorsal fin is taller on males.
