If anyone has been wondering where the heck I've been for the past month... I got a puppy! Originally, we had a Cardigan Welsh Corgi blue merle ***** puppy reserved from a wonderful breeder in Washington. The parents were super-duper-health tested, both were Champions and had herding titles, and the breeder is great. However, the stud owner decided they wanted a blue female to show, and took our girl. =/ I was SO bummed, and I turned back to looking into rescue.

Then, this little Corgi mix puppy popped up, we went to see him, and he's here now! He is 12 weeks old, we've had him for almost 4 weeks. He is SUCH a little sweetheart, and he is so smart. He follows me around everywhere, I've already taught him down, sit, stand, heel, wait (working on a solid stay), spin, touch, "bang youre dead", give paw, & crawl. And puppy kindergarten doesn't start for 2 weeks! He is also great in his crate and has only had one little accident... it was in the first week, and it was my fault. Gonzo loves him to pieces and they wrestle all the time! He's really perfect for us, I'm so happy the Cardi pup fell through. I'm also happy to give a homeless puppy a forever home, most people we meet are shocked that this little guy was dumped in a shelter... er, actually, his pregnant Corgi mommy was dumped. We think his Daddy was a Husky, what do you guys think?

On the ride home =0) awwwuh

Sorry for so many. Now you guys understand why my hands are full!

What a gorgeous handsome fella ! There's definitely mucho husky in that cute little face - no doubt about that

very cute  i expect that blue eye is from his huskiness :)

thanks, everybody! ^_^

I definitely feel he has Husky in him... we know about the half Corgi, and he does look very Corgi. He's actually MUCH smaller than he looks, the vet says he will be 20-25 lbs full grown at her best guess. He has the personality and the coloring of a Jack Russell, so we're pretty sure there's JRT somewhere in there.

Awesome pup, and good for you on adopting from a rescue, and for looking for a responsible breeder when you were thinking of purchasing instead of adopting!

Who knows? But I know one thing, he's got those BIG corgi ears LMAO

HE IS SO GORGEOUS...lucky him for finding great owners like you!!!

Love that blue eye, that a cutie pie!!!

The pic with one ear up & one ear down, if you half the pic down the middle you could be forgiven thinking it's 2 different dogs if shown seperately...
