www.photobucket.com

is that a hump i see on your baby? that's a pretty strong indicator of a palembangensis to me... especially with the mottled markings and red eyes.

once you get a photobucket account, if you could post more pictures, that'd be a big help with the id.

I have just registered with that site, will put more pics on this afternoon ! Are they rare, i bought him from a garden centre, someone had bought him in as they didnt want him, the shop said he was a devil puffer ! his eyes were cloudy and he looked skinny, didnt even look up when we walked up so i could not leave without him ! So i bought him home as i had an empty cycled tank (i had gone to buy and oscar) fed him up and he is great now ! Frequently tries to bite me but he is getting better, his eyes are clearer now and he follows you round the tank ! Such a character! have not got him eating dead food yet, he ignores smashed up cockles and follows me around the tank for shrimps ! I had a fig of 8 once but he died within 20 mins of being home so i gave up on puffers as i could not stand seeing them die but he is brilliant ! are they rare !?

Looks like a Dragon Puffer to me too, although it is a very small picture!

Ours like peeled frozen cooked prawns, mealworms, live shrimp and snails but aren't too keen on cockle or mussel.
