my puffer sometimes has a black belly and a white belly what does this mean!?!?!?! i bought him as a white belly fish but when i got him home he went black bellied and sometimes it changes :unsure

Don't bother breeding them, if you red the post by TorPeteO, you will find out more, also, do you have a scientific name. It also sounds like you bought on impulse, never do that, always research them first.

Arew they in a tank of their own, if not, take them back to your lfs until you have a tank. Then get a tank and cycle it properly. If you don't want to have brackish water, go for dwarf puffers, and if you would like to try, you could go for Green Spotted Puffers, or Figure Eights or something. Just make sure you research.
