My Puffer Ill?

Hi. I've had an mbu puffer for about 6 months. He's about 6 inches. He's generally very active and has a massive appetite. He always comes up to you when you go near the tank, but the last 3 days he's been very lethargic and pale, spending most of the day on the bottom of the tank. He's eating small amounts but nothing like normal. Another thing is that his poo seems to be completely white? What's wrong with him and what can I do? Thanks

That does sound a bit odd, I had a fahaka puffer, very active.   Have you over-fed him possibly? How's the water parameters, puffers are messy and need good water conditions.

What are the water parameters? Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?
 
What size is his tank?
 
Could you get a picture of him and his poop?
 
The white poop sounds like a sign of parasites.
