Im ranting because im upset recently i spent ages setting up my tank i got 3 gorgeous females and after poor advice put a male in but then separated him and they recovered, water was fine the fins had recovered they were really happy in my 10g tank (uk) checked them everymorning cleaning out the tank temp etc
got home from meeting a friend and thought id say goodnight to my darlings... filter has broken and literally boiled my fish, temp is at 40oC!!!!
so much for my hard work caring for them
