My poor elephant nose -

Earlier this evening one of my gobi dragons accidently killed my elephantnose. He didn't do it on purpose, he was flicking the substrate with his tail, trying to hide under a stone when the elephantnose got in his way and got hit. I never realised the dragons where so strong - the poor elephantnose was whacked into the glass and must have broken his back. He was completely bent in half and I had to euthanize him He was doing so well - growing nicely and getting quite big - I'm so sad

Ahhh Gadazobe, so sorry to hear that Poor fishy. It's always hard when unfortunate accidents like this happen. Hope you start to feel better soon.

He was such a beautiful fish,so sorry about that,how tragic

At least it was a fairly quick death ,and you saw what happened so you weren't left wondering what DID happen

These thing come and go, and the older the fish the more painful the feeling of the fish dying. Not many people have elephant nose fish here, I feel sorry for you in that point. Maybe another elephant nose will cheer it up.
