My Pleco Is Hiding

I recently added 2 zebra loaches to my tank and they kicked my common pleco out of his normal hiding place. So the pleco went to another cave but now he wont come out. I haven't seen him come out in a while. Now my tank is starting to grow algae. What can i do to get my pleco out and eat the algae?

have you seen enough of him to see that hes ok,,, they do sometimes go into hiding but i wouldnt worry too much

hes not hurt, i do know this. but i want him to come out. I havent seen him eat in a while.

Try a slice of cucumber or squash...he may be tempted!

What I have noticed are some Plecos Like my Clown pleco can be easily bullied. I added a Chinese algae eater to my tank and altho My Pleco did not lose him home, she did become more of a home body. I use to see my Pleco come out for food but with the Chinese in the tank my pleco just stayed in her home. The Chinese was a big bully he bullied the other fish too but he did a good job cleaning the tank since he was still young. I retuned my Chinese and I am waiting for 2 pit bull plecos to help my oto out with the algse.
