My platys are nutts

I have had my 8 platys for 6 days now and i realy didnt expect them to be as tame as they are, i thought they would hide from me at times but no i couldnt have been more wrong. Everytime i go near the tank they follow me, everytime i open the lid they greet me. Everytime i do water changed they try to get up the hose! , everytime i do water test they attack the spoon (i get the water out with it). Everytime i check the tempreture the follow me left and check the filter they follow me right. I go to there essential box under the tank they follow me downwards, i eat my dinner they ALL stare at me. The cats walk past the tank (they dont touch it) and the fish follow them, i turn the light of the tank off at bed time and they all instantly go to the bottom in the rest position.
They follow as a whole group everytime without fail, their like my own little red army .They are fear less

My tiger barbs are like that. Their nibbling got so annoying I started holding an air hose in my hand while doing tank maintanance and blowing through it (Fish don't like bubbles) when they got to close. Better than electroshock therepy .
