Ahh cute  how many fry do you have ?

i saved 20 eggs (the rest got eaten by the greedy gold fish).16 hatched,2 didnt hatch & 2 fry died during hatching.iv now only got 12 left but one of the little runt ones keeps on rolling onto its side so think its on its way out.have posted a topic about it in the emergency section cus not sure if i should put any meds in water with it or what.any advice on what to do and use would be much apprechiated!
shaz :)

Thanks for thte pic Sharon, the cory looks so cute!

I can't believe its only 5 weeks old?! It looks as big as the smaller bronze corys I have in the tank already!

As with my fry, I've still got about 50 fry alive but they don't seem to have grown much at all, despite me feeding them 4-5 times a day, does it take a while for them to grow or do they start off growing slowly and then grow heaps quicky after a week or two? Its been 6 days since the fry hatched.

just bought myself 3 small peppered corys, they are all very cute and hope they grow bigger lol, my pleco could eat them if he wanted to :/ lucky enough hes just fine with algae wafers lol

Lorna came out and had a look at my fry today. even though they are peppereds (which she dosnt like as the get too big) she has fallen in love with them :)

looks like I'll be trying the Adolfi's sooned than i thought :)

thanks all,the fry isnt as big as it looks when you consider its next to the air stone!!!

ey2006,my cory fry seemed to start off growing really slowly for about the first 3 weeks then all of a sudden it seemed like every other morning when i got up and checked on them they had grown a bit over night.so its just patience im afraid!they also seem to go through a phase of not really growng but changing to look like catfish rather than tadpoles, lol.iv got a feeling that the pic iv posted is of a female as apparently i read somewhere that females are bigger than males right from the begining, dont know whether its true or not tho.
sharon :)
