Well my peppered cories spawned for the first time on Wednesday. I have worked out that I have 2 females and one male :/ Well the other female kept going behind after the other female laid her eggs and eating them :grr:

So I managed to get 7 out with my finger and put them in a breeding trap in my platy fry tank. They are in the flow of the filter and today I was looking at them with a magnifying glass my son got off his sea monkey kit and I could see movement in one of them :hyper: 2 have gone white and fuzzy but I spaced the eggs quite well away from eachother so I'm hoping it won't spread. I can only see movement in the one egg so far and all the other eggs in the main tank have been eaten or squashed by the betta fry that are in there.

So if I only get this one egg to hatch won't it be lonely? I have microworm cultures and BBS hatchery on the go for my betta fry so I have food for it, but just worried that it'll be the only one :(

I'll try and get at least another male to go with the trio and also planning to put them in one of my spawning tanks when I have a free one so they can spawn in peace next time :)
