My Oto's

Hi, i recently set up a 20gallon tank, we currently have 2 oto's and 3 red phantom tetra (adding slowly).

All hte Oto seem to do tho is hide behind the filter or heater, is this normal, also less than a week after adding our fishies the water looks a little cloudy is this normal?

Cloudy is normal.

The best thing to do when cycling with fish is to add hardy fish. I don't think the fish you have now count as hardy fish. Just add slowly after the tank has fully cycled.

In my experience sucker cats tend to hide when the lights are on, so I think it's normal (not sure, though).

They tend to do better in tanks with live plants.

This might sound doom and gloom...
we bought 3 a few weeks ago and they did nothing.. just sat around and hid.

2 died we've still got 1 left.

Anyway we went to a different store and they had loads running about all over the place, they checked their system and they had had them 4 weeks..
so i bought 3 more... the new 3 are great, they just dont stop.

I just hope the old one joins them and perks up
