My MG delta boy is reaching the ripe old age of 2 1/2, and hes starting to show it, hes getting more washed out looking and spends most of his time lying at the bottom of his tank or perched on a plant. What can I do to make him more comfy?? he's in a 2 gallon tank. He was my first fishey ever!
It sounds like you are already doing everything to make him as comfy as possible. If he likes to rest on the plant, make sure it's close to the top of the water so he wont have to go far to get some air. Bettas slow down with age and he probably won't go ripping around the tank like a madfish anymore, so just keep his water sparkly clean, give him a treat once in awhile and keep on loving him. That's all an old fish could ask for.
