My New Tropical Setup (update)

Thanks for the advice guys / gals. Really appreciated.

Here are some updated pics of the setup and some of the fishes , I've moved the betta, the neons and danios to the tank upstairs along with adding 8 guppies to it.
I've added a fast blower and since doing this the cats have become far more lively and in fact the whole tank seems to be much more alive, i guess they like this as it is more natural rather than a static environment with just the filter pump.

It's not really that low its about an inch off the top of the tank. I guess I could top it up a bit more
The top silver bit houses the lights its not part of the tank, and theres an external trickle filter behind that.

I just moved the heater down behind the plants and rearranged them a bit so its now hidden and all the cables are behing the pump looks a bit tidier now cable wise too.

yeap i'd agree its a reedfish/ropefish. gets kinda big doesnt it?

@ tropicman - Yeah you're right it is a reedfish! Thanks for that They can get quite big indeed 18" in captivity so i've read. Should have a 200 gallon tank by the time he gets that big tho, if not will move him out to my friends tank.

@ RedShark - The tank is 45 gallons.

@ pinkdolphin_113 - There are 2 "red tail" sharks and 1 "rainbow" shark in there, the guy in the LFS said these were actually the same and "ruby" sharks were just rainbow shards too? Not sure if this is correct??

@ paul_219 - Thanks i've hidden the heater away down behind the plants now and tidied the cables on the left out of the way so it looks better now.

@ I Love my fishies - Yeah i have but i can't find one i like, most of the ones i've seen look too fake and tacky i seen one that looks like a rock face on one of the other members tanks that looked good, just cant find where to get hold of it.
