My New Tank

"Posting Pictures

When you want to show people your gorgeous tank, or your favorite fish, there are a few ways to do this. The first way, and probably the easiest way, is to go to the Members Aquarium and Fish Pictures section, and start a new topic there. Then click the 'Browse' button, on the bottom of the New topic page, and find the picture you want to show. You can add a few pictures per post. Another option is to use a photo hosting site, such as www.photobucket.com or http://imageshack.us/ . Those are free hosting sites. Once you have your pictures on there, you can copy the URL of the picture. When in the reply box, click the little icon that looks like this. Paste the address in there, and it should show up as a picture!"

Any help?

looks massive!! looking good though, i'd get some more plants in there to fill it out and hide the equipment at the back, and get something like java moss and attach it to the ship, would look nice and natural then :good:

Thanks for the replies...........I actually only added the plants yesterday and today............will be adding more as we go............I've ordered more but wont get here until another fortnight.....

Since I had to stain the cabinet and hood, the smell is completely gone as I left it outside under the pergola.........(thank God for that) as the 3 coats I gave it, both inside and out really made the smell of the stain really strong...........

Can you place plants near the heater and filter??

Lol your clownloach munching on cucumber, nice! Where are your other fish (in your sig), i can only see the CL and Swords?

yup, some plants won't like a strong flow so be careful with your selection, but something like vallis can go infront of the filter just fine

Fishies are there although I have moved the Neons and Dwarf barbs into the larger tank until its finished cycling........

I moved a large chunk of my old media filter and the supplied one from my LFS into the new filter of the larger tank as well but did not want to risk placing in all the fish.........hopefully in a few weeks once the tank has finished cycling........
