My New Tank

this tank was given to me for nothing, and its only three months old, its a rio 180. and in it i have 2 angels, two cories, 3 clown loaches, 2 swordtails, 3 mollies, 3 neon tetras, 2 flame tetras, 1 betta, i dwarf gourami 2 paradise fish, 1 frog.

if you can ,you should have a few more corys they like to be in groups of 5+.

Not sure if you know, but bettas and gouramis do not get along. The paradise fish will also probably be fighting with the betta.

all my fish seem to get on fine now, though they didnt to start with, the only problem i have is that the angel and gourami dont get on so well sometimes, the tank came with everything i need, including the boat and background, and the background is a 3d moulded job, which is great because quite a few of the fish like to rest on it and the cories and clowns spend ages nosing around it. the cories will be getting two friends soon, my lfs has ordered me a black corie and what i think are venezalan (sorry about the spelling) cory, they,re nice orange ones

ive also just ordered a 25 plant mix from ebay, so soon the tank will full of plants,

i couldnt get a picture, but ive also got 4 submergable lights in there 2 green 1 red and 1 blue, at night when the main lights off, i put these spot like lights on, they are all aimed at the boat, and it makes the tank look reaaly nice, and when the angel and some of the other fish swim in front they glow really nice, my daughter reckons its like a disco.

That's stunning. I always love backgrouns. Then Again, I always love natural tanks. I'd put in quite a few more live plants myself though..... But i'm a live plant fanatic now
