its a 30x16x16 with a ceramic bulb and pulse thermostat

I fed him tonight and he eat stright away which is a good sign, whata great experience that is the speed he shot out of is hole to eat the mouse!!!

Nice royal mate...I would consider changing his bedding though..although sold in the trade I have found the one you are using can irritate their bellies and get eaten along with food. Try a mixture of 2 parts potting compost mixed with one part soft sand,...kinder on the stomach scutes and les likely to cause problems if injested..
Here are my two current snakes....

beauties!!

funny enough i juust psted on snake forum ideas of what to get next, I fancy a boa one of the bigger ones and I do love the tree boas but they are expensive n my local shop, a male one is in there for £!000

I'll look into changing the substrate, thats the aspen shavings

Tree boas, if cookii, can be aggressive and tempramental...look out something like a hogg island boa, docile and beautiful snakes..
Also consider some of the smaller pythons, especially australian s like the carpets...jungle carpets are one of the most beautiful snakes in the hobby and dont get too big either...between 4.5 to bout 8 foot depending on sex.
