They're not an easily found fish and not that much is known about them. Their "proper" name is crossocheilus denisonii and they're related to SAE. They originate in India and can only be caught in the summer season before the monsoon season starts. They haven't been bred in captivity and on one of the sites that I read they're classed as endangered but that's debatable. They seem to be omnivores and eat anything that I feed the others with. They're very peaceful and get on well with the rest of the gang. From what I read, they should grow to at least 6" if not more. I don't know if I have males, females or a mixture but when they get older and bigger, I would love to try to breed them. They are a stunning fish, my pictures don't do them justice and if you can find them, they make a fantastic addition to any peaceful community tank.

ive seen these fish in a few shops over the last few weeks and they are very nice....ur eye is instantly drawn to them as the red is stunning and bright
