Hi everyone,

We went to a Miniature Horse Farm open house yesterday, just for fun, because we have been interested in Minis for a while. They had just had a bunch of foals born, one just last night.

Anyway, we went back in the barn, and looked at the Ponies for sale. They were all soooo cute, but one caught our eye. So we went back home for lunch, and though about. We decided to go back, and take another look. And there he was, cute as ever. So we decided to get him.

So here he is...My 1 year old, 37" American Mini. His name is Pooh Bear for now...but we might change that.

Sulking, because everyone's looking at the babies in the next aisle:

And this picture too, just because it's cute..one of the Babies:

Thanks guys. :)

Those pictures really don't do him justice...he's much cuter in real life. I'll try to get some better pictures, though.

Thanks all. :)

I told him everyone thought he was cute, and nice, and he nickered! It was too cute.

Nicker is a sounds horses make, Chook, uh Angry Platy. Hard to describe using text...

Horses are measured in hands. One hand equals four inches, so Pooh Bear would be <does maths> about nine hands high.

Annastasia: He's adorable! And that little foal - too cute  My first horse was a 38" mini. She was a little snot :p Really, she just needed some work and she was a good little horse. We got two foals out of her. They were *so* cute! Enjoy your new guy. And I agree - more pictures! :)

I miss my horses (and my goats and dogs and cats and chickens and ducks and Guinea fowl and...)

I'll try to get more pictures today. Most don't come out too well, because he's very hyper and moves a lot, but I'll try! :)
