My New Pond

[what a load of pollocks]

since had my 60 gallon tank for a while and the fishs were getting bigger so have decided to upgrade to a pond i opt for a Fibreglass Marlin approx 250 gallon which is good and fit perfectly in my garden, since the pond finish i transfer the fishs and only bought 5 small baby comets but sadly one died and the rest is doing fine and still have the big one and loving the space..........

250 gallon pond with Oasis green to clean kit 6000, with Koi Air Pump 65 have all 3 airstone in pond in different position on low pressure but enought to give air will take more soon plus the pond is completed as just doing the finishing touch will be taking them shortly soon

PS. i dont know how to make the pic better via clickin on the pic so i have post the links via clickin on the number 01 ono the last pic is where have put the koi air pump in the shed had get 11metes airline pipe

that the pond finish, only have 7 plants have 2 kidney basket which hold 3 plant and 2 each,both kidney basket contain 1 Oxygenating plant each and other plant which have forgot and only have 1 plant of water lillies......................

well well it been ages since i posted my pond pic alot thing have change the nice grassy type at top end is doing very well and grown nicely, the water have been clear as bell as have barley straw .................... all 17 fishs are doing well and growing nicely

Funny thing is hes a Shusui Doitsu Koi Carp, a German breed

nah dont see the Loaches often but sometime when lucky on the pond shelf.....but me guess i think they hidin behind the grassy plant or some couple caves i put in bottam of pond for them........

the filtering it, gravity fed???,..........

well i dont have gravity filter if that what u thinking, but have Oasis Filter green to clean 6000 with UV, plus have blanket weed controller recently install couple month ago.......

i took some movies underwater in my pond it just show u how clear it is the water but i know there blanket weed but it not that bad plus it too cold to muck around wit the pond will be doing it when it a bit warmer, as plan to get a plastic rake to help me pull some out...................

I dont really know what to say.
I know you must love your fish but 17 in a 250 gallon pond is really over crowded. Looking at the pics its like looking at a tank in the local fish store.
I hope that you have lots of filtration and do regular water changes.

You say as well you have fish you think is wakin. Post a pic and we can id it for you.

have already mention abt wakin and u called them ugly......... at least i took them up for adoption and care for them swimmin happy in the tank..............

i appreciate the concern but there noway it overcrowded.......... 23 fishes then yes that overcrowded

i last clean the filter and the pump in october..............and no doesnt do water change.............................

yeah it look like a tank in store but it wonderful technolgy can be Pentax W20 digital camera be useful for u and other fish lover to see inside the pond for maintenance in summer which i will be doing as cleaning the bottam out..........................
