Hi Guys,
I’m quite excited as I’ve finally bought my plec after months of waiting – He’s tiny at the moment. He was sold as a Tiger Imperial Plec is that right? I took some pics, he seems very happy in his new home. I was originally going to get a snowball but this little guy got me straight away.
What do you think? :good:

Great to know thanks Dave. He's my first Plec and I couldnt be happier with my choice - I just hope he settles quickly and enjoys his new home - any tips on treats you guys give that i can add to my regular flake feeding. I've got some lead strips for cucumber slices, bloodworm and tetra plec tablets.

i feed mine prawns, mussels, bloodworm live and the pellets, jmc catfish pellets, hikari algae wafers,courgette/cucumber, there my fave plec behind the l46

Thanks for all your comments guys.

I'm a little worried perhaps just over concerned...

I have yet to see him eat and this is the 4th day. I've tried flake and blood worm. The other fish just eat the leftovers and he stays stuck on the bog wood. Last night I sunk a slice of potato and a slice of cucumber and covered the tank with a towl. This morning nothing had touched either - am i doing the right things?

give it a bit of time.

try feeding just after lights out - try some frozen prawn and sit in the dark and watch :)

4 and a half to 5 inches i got a load and geting aload more in june :good: :good:

Cheers Dane

And he's only 1.7 inches at the moment :)
Talk about turn around My Cory's are lucky if they get a shot at the cucumber now, he seems a lot more settled but does dash off and hide if anything happens suddenly. He's also eating some flake when it hits the bottom. and tonight I'll try bloodworm again. I took some more shots of him which turned out ok, I'll post them up tomorrow.

I've called him Guiseppe.
