So fish lovers I just got some plant bulbs from Walmart and I planted them I have never had plants in my tank so what is it like what do I do when I clean the tank if you can help me that would be great thanks snork6

Just clean around them, trying not to disturb the roots to much.

the bulbs that you got, make sure that they are for water, fully submerged not partial or they won't make it.

just remember where you planted them, and until they grow out so you can see don't disturb them.

What kind of plant bulbs did you get?

That would help a bit.

Usually when it comes maintenance cleaning, just do the usual gravel vac but not too near or too deep to the bulb plant, the roots need nourishment from substrate.

Same suitable amount of water change usually at least 25% still to be carried out and once plants have established, just give a trim every now and again to get rid of brown leaves and overgrown area.
