My New Para Pleco (proper One This Time)

Hi Guys and Gals

Here are some pics of my L 75. RCSMITH, you may be able to advise here. All the para plecos in the tank had the two white marks on the sides of the dorsal fin and I thought nothing of it because of that. I am just wondering what they are ?. Could it be that he likes to hang around the heater like in the third photo ?. If so, that means that they all must in the tank at the lfs lol.

Great looking pleco! I just got a l075 about a week ago. The manager had no idea what it was and sold it to me for 10 dollars (US). Not sure about the answer to your question sorry. I was wonder what you have been feeding yours? I have yet to see mine eat but i try to feed right before lights out so i am not sure. I would just like to know from someone who actually owns one what they feed theirs. Thanks and again great lookin para plec.

I'm still waiting to see some photos of yours !!. I feed all my bottom feeders on Algae wafers, Tetra variety wafers and the stuff below in the photos ( Not sure whats available in the states but I suggest tring to get something like the same size as those in the photos). The pellets in the photos are the best one in my opinion, all my bottom feeders wolf it down especially my Para Plec who goes over it like a vacuum cleaner lol. I treat them a couple of times a week with bloodworm and also with a big chunk of cucumber.

I paid £25 from Wilmslow pets and aquatics and its around 4.5 inches maybe 5. I would definitely recommend it to anyone willing to make the journey up to Cheshire. They have a massive selection of plecs and you can view their stock on tropical fish finder.
