Hi all,

Just 'Done the Deed' (*sniffles*) and swapped my rapidly-expanding-but-very-pretty Sailfin/Common Plec for a lil' baby Bristlenose fella (...and a couple of coolies loaches)

Now the BN is teeny weeny, so is my usual feeding routine OK for him/her:

Morning: bog standard tropical fish flakes
Evening: sinking pellet, plec wafers

...and a bit of potato and a few squashed peas every now and again.

As you can see from the size of the coolie peeking out of the Triceratops skull, the BN is a right tiddler!!

He's small. How big is he an inch?

Need more info on his size to tell you if you are over or under feeding him.

feed cucumber and corgette 2 he'll love it ....ur routine is fine but would add veg more often and varied also removing any uneaten food specially veg after tops 24 hours :)

Yep, he/she is about an inch long, nose to tail.

:)

Will do! As it happens, I LOVE courgette, so he/she can have some of mine!!

I have to admit, I was wondering if the plec wafers might be a bit 'tough' for him to chew on... She/he's doing a FAB job of chomping his/her way through the algae though!!

;)

algy wafers soften as they ly in the water so you can stick them on the glass :) test different foods seem what the lil guy likes

also its nice to keep bns in pairs
they dont get lonly but its just nice
