My New L128 Blue Phantom

I picked him up from Pier Aquatics last week for £20.

Tannins in the water make him look a bit green but his spots are bright blue in clear water.

He is about 3" at the moment. They can grow to about 7.5"

That's not an L128 Blue phantom, it's an L200 Green phantom!

Same species, different colour morph.

exactly, I have exactly the same problem trying to photograph mine....comes out a green/brown mix.

I agree with Darkstar, tannins can cause the fish to look a little off colour.
My new tank has really brown water and the fish aren't half as colourful as they should be.
Beautiful L128, though.
