RIP Dear nan 22/03/1925 --11/03/2009
Special thanks to Amerce for these lovely fish
MY new Honduran red points arrived today and are doing well in the quarentine tank , though being chased around by the 4 male platys that are in there as a temp home for a friend
They will be housed in 240 ltr well planted tank with caves (coconut and pots) , bogwood and slate
they will be housed with bolivian rams , golden balloon rams , dwarf gouramis and some corys and shrimp - possibly honey gouramis (these have got really territorial and wont suit the new inhabitants of the rio 180)
I will keep an eye on them to see if there is much aggression but from what i have read they arent going to be worse than the gouramis or the rams are at the moment - if they are i have a good home lined up for them
If you like to know more about them - these are pure hondurans not crssed with convicts which from reports is happening more and more and making the offspring really aggressive
