Right, I know it is, but the rays just look slightly bit ratty... I guess it could be a genetic thing! Don't worry bout it

A great little guy, and if you ever breed him, you want to get the red OUT, since blue+red is bad in competitions

yeah, getting the red out is hard. That is why he was such a bargin.
Not good for breeding, but perfect price for a loved pet.

I saw one very much like him at the petstore yesterday. Curled fins though. A couple months of clean water would make them look like twins. I felt bad leaving him, but I'm trying not to buy anymore Bettas, that I won't breed.

If he is still there, maybe I'll buy him and put him up for adoption. OR Trade?

yeah it's too bad he has that red splotch... but I really like his finnage the most... love crowntail bettas!
